The boat was built in St. Martin by Mr. Van Spanje under the supervision of Spronk and was launched for the first time in 2007.

Boat has main track and winch, and jib tracks and winches. Not new kit but functional.
Sails are available.
Steering works and outboard has control and steering too. Just needs to be re-assembled after pedestal repairs.
I fitted the batteries to the boat a few years ago. Before that there were no electrics at all. Their only purpose was to power VHF and interior lights.
No nav lights on the boat or the mast- mast should be re-wired and fitted with masthead and spreader/ foredeck lights whilst it is down??
It's a very viable working shell with minimal but functional sail handling gear and good steering/ outboard motor and control.
Ideal for someone who wants to custom fit it for their own purposes.
As far as I know the hulls are solid and the decks and windows need TLC and some paint! Nothing that is expensive to repair as it's all wood/ epoxy except for the new (our) mods which are Divinycell foam/ epoxy, including the new coach roof.
We have made major modifications to the wheelhouse and the interior of the vessel;
Widened coachroof to include accommodation stairs to the hull interiors
Increased cockpit seating by removing original Companion-way ladders down
Opened up hull interiors between aft beam and mast beam by removing dagger boards and boxes
Major repairs to soft spots around the cockpit seating and helm pedestal
Replaced original cockpit floor with fully encapsulated structural foam
Added shoal keels in lieu of the dagger boards
Changed original transom hung rudders with solid linkage steering to hull mounted rudders and stocks with Edson wire and sheave steering
Repaired soft spots in the forward area of the foredeck and hulls top decks
Localised hull repair on port side outboard caused by original poor drainage of stringers
The hull interiors still have the original aft berths (fore and aft) but the newly open interior is bare painted, ready to take whatever the owner wants.
It could be a nice hotel based day charter boat for limited numbers (high-end charter) or at the same time it could be a great weekender for one or two couples...or a bit of both really!
WORK TO DO
The mast and boom just need new halyards and running rigging
I would fit a furler for the jib too as it's currently hank-on..
There is no electrical system to speak of, except for two batteries and a 6 way switch panel for engine start and interior lights.
The boat has a solar panel which can be fitted on the roof under the boom, without affecting sail handling.
Pads for jib winches, solar panel and tracks are on the new roof, tracks and winches come with the boat, they just need to be fitted down.
Need still to finish painting in the cockpit area and also rig a new engine sled lifting mechanism, as the original is a bit awkward.
Replace all polycarbonate windows and make localised window frame repairs. They are not leaking but the poly is crazed and looks bad.
Some soft spots on the foredeck along the front of the chest to be repaired
Mast needs to be lifted for localised soft spot repairs under the step.
Mast needs to be re-wired and new halyards recommended.
Hulls are in good condition but the original pale yellow paint is faded. Needs a new paint job!
