The X2K’s stepped hull offers reduced resistance when planning, good sea-keeping, fuel efficiency, and speed, and is well suited for offshore fishing and coastal passages.
The X2K is a development of an offshore racing design, and has a ventilated double step hull, with pad keel and a notched transom. The X2K’s clever centre console features a toilet with shower as well as a helm station fitted with standing or seated driving positions and equipped with a full suite of marine electronics. Forward of the console is the social centre, with a double sofa and two single seats and space for a removable table. Forward again, is a twin Vee berth cabin, which is great for storage or the occasional night on board and the roof of which provides deck space for a sunbed. The aft deck has a 4 person sofa that is removable for fishing, diving and water sports and there is also a bench unit with sink, and space for a removable 70 litre icebox and two deck storage boxes. The twin 250hp 4 stroke Suzuki outboards will give a top speed of up to 50 knots.
The balance of this X2K under power is incredible and she will cruise smooth and straight at 30 knots with virtually no input from the helm while still achieving excellent fuel economy. She would make a great family day boat and is also excellent for the fishing enthusiast who wants to reach those more remote spots.
