The first boats to be built by Jeanneau were power boats, even if todays it seems barely credible, as the French yard is better known for its range of sailing boats. Its tradition is however there and the power range was soon widely accepted either because their excellent value and for the fine inherent qualities of the models. The Prestige 42 Fly is a power boat of modern design and interesting hull. Designed by Michael Peters, better known for its fast launches (Chris-Craft and Hinckley among others), the 42 has a fine entry on the bow and a quite ample stern, gauge for high performances and low consumptions. Thus their commercial success, helped by their good internal craftmanship and gleaming interior. This unit has been well kept and shows a low mileage.
