Although a very traditional boat in looks, the President 830 Hardtop is build using the most advanced technologies. The bottom of the vessel has a 14-degree transom deadrise, not so flat that it runs hard in a chop, but not so sharp as to compromise stability. In fact, this vessel planes with hardly any bow-rise, even at top speeds. And she is amazingly smooth and quiet. When one of these vessels was sea-trialed in a four-foot chop, there was neither pitching nor pounding to be felt. The interior is just as smooth. The master stateroom and head are just below the main salon, running the full wide beam. There are two guest cabins to port and starboard along the passageway leading to a full-width VIP cabin with en suite in the bow area. The main salon itself is large and uncluttered and there is a very practical, user-friendly galley, complete with all modern accessories. The fully enclosed helm station houses what is known as the Gallery, a lofty, neatly decorated retreat.
