A 3 burner propane stove with oven and microwave make up the cooking area. There is also a large double stainless steel sink with hot and cold water and a salt water foot pump.
The electrical system is based on two 30A shore power cord input for dock power access and a 8KW Panda diesel generator for 110V service away from the dock. While sailing or at anchor, there are 3 x 140W Kyocera solar panels mounted on a custom frame above the cockpit bimini to supply 12V charging to the batteries.
Batteries include 4 house batteries (vs 2 standard), a separate engine start battery new in 2015 and a separate battery for the bow thruster (also new in 2015).
And to complement the power system, there is also an inverter to supply power to the 110V outlets from the batteries. You should never have to worry about electrical power!
The electronics for navigation, communication and to monitor operation include a full Raymarine suite of instruments at the helm including a ST6002 autopilot control, ST-60 displays for Wind, Depth and Speed. The sail rig is an in-mast furling mainsail and a furling genoa. All lines are lead to the cockpit for easy cruising and sail trim. The mainsail and headsail were replaced recently and have not been used. And the owner still has the original sails in storage. So there are two new sets with the boat. Also included is a lightly used asymmetrical spinnaker on a furler (instead of a snuffer) for easier control.
Line control is by an electric Lewmar ST40 on the coach roof for the mainsail furling lines and sheet and by 2 x Lewmar ST54 manual winches for the genoa/spinnaker sheets. A clever pocket design on the dodger holds the halyards securely away from the other lines.
The cockpit is protected by a custom bimini/dodger/connector in Navy Blue Sunbrella. There are also matching helm wheel covers. A huge cockpit lazarette on the port side holds all of the necessary items like docklines, finders, life jackets and other toys. The propane locker for two tanks is in a separate compartment in the center of the cockpit at the helm seat for easy access. At this location, the helm seat swings away for easy access to the swim platform.
The ground tackle consists of three anchors - two forward and one in the cockpit locker. The primary is a Delta on 100' chain/100' rope rode! The second is a Claw anchor and the kedge is a trustworthy Danforth. The primary is controlled by a Lewmar 12V windlass with handheld control at the anchor locker.
There has been a Kato davit system installed on the transom to hold the Apex 10-Lite inflatable and a separate crane and mount for the Tohatsu 6hp 4-stroke outboard.
