Sadie V is a wonderful example of a very versatile cruiser conceived and built here in the Pacific Northwest. Few companies can claim that they created a revolution in the boating industry the way that Ranger Tugs has. Sadie V has all the systems and capabilities that you'd expect in a much larger vessel and owners of sister ships have had some remarkable adventures.
Sadie V has a very low hours (80) 150 hp Yanmar diesel, bow and stern thrusters, Wallas heat/stove and a generous inverter. Her navigation gear includes everything you'll need to go as far as you can imagine on a boat this size. She was ordered with all the extras including solar panels, a safety and the dinghy package.
Sadie V is capable of cruising at 14 kts using only 5 gallons/hour and has a top speed around 19 kts. Her remote control allows amazing flexibility for docking that you'd never expect from a 25 foot cruising boat. She's been very well maintained by a single owner shows like a new boat.
If you are dreaming of new adventures or have been watching these little cruisers running all around the PNW, come on over to Bainbridge Island and take a look at Sadie V, you'll be amazed at what you can do with a well designed pocket cruiser.
Sadie V is on the docks at our Bainbridge Island location. Please call Bob Schoonmaker at 206-818-7394 to arrange a viewing.
The SC in R25SC stands for Sport Cockpit. The SC cockpit (aft deck) is 25 percent larger than our original R25 giving it nearly 50 sq ft of aft deck space. The larger cockpit also lends itself to more above and below deck storage and makes for easy access to the standard Yanmar 4BY2 150 HP Yanmar diesel. The Yanmar engine is located entirely outside of the cabin making for smooth, quiet cruising. The standard bow and stern thruster provide for excellent maneuverability around the dock and the 8' 6" beam allows the boat to be easily trailered, although Sadie V's owners elected not to get a trailer.
Sadie V's interior is finished in teak with vinyl headliner. She is bright and comfortable. Her cabin sole is molded fiberglass and easily maintained. Her windows are built by Diamond Seaglaze and are extremely high quality and extremely durable. There are blinds for privacy and berthing for five. A v-berth, convertible dinette and pilot berth below. There are numerous reading lights and lockers around all the berths.
The pilothouse includes the galley, navigation and helm to starboard. The seating has multiple options for usage and is truly versitle. The helm station has controls for the searchlight, thrusters, anchor windlass and radar/plotter. The port side includes passenger seating and the dinette. The galley includes the Wallas diesel stove and cabin heater. The head is at the aft end of the cabin on the starboard side. Ranger has done a wonderful job of adding lots of ventilation and light to the pilothouse.
The head includes a very easy to clean molded fiberglass liner. The head is larger than you'd ever expect on a boat of this size. She boasts hot and cold pressure water and a really usable shower. There is storage and ventilation in the space.
The pilot berth below the convertible dinette is perfect for keeping kids safe and comfortable or for extra storage.
The cockpit is roomy enough for lounging while underway or in port. Access to the swim platform and dinghy is easy and the coaming safe enough for older guests or children.
