Continuing the expansion of the Marlow Prowler series, Marlow Yachts introduced the 2nd addition to the series, the Prowler Open 375. The Marlow Prowler Open 375 is manufactured alongside the acclaimed Marlow Explorer series of yachts at the Norsemen Shipyard, located in Xiamen, China. Marlow Yachts are certified by Lloyds Register, and ISO 9001, a status enjoyed by less than a handful of pleasure powerboat manufacturers worldwide.
Although this new Prowler is classified as the Open version she sports a very comfortable interior arrangement tucked under the sleek foredeck. The cockpit features all the tools and toys to allow any water sport activity from fishing to diving, including refrigerated fish box, with logically designed and arranged tackle center and storage. A carefully designed bait tank doubles as an onboard aquarium if preferred. This low volume, limited production yacht is available with a variety of power options, from twin and triple outboards (as shown) to twin diesels of up to 500 horsepower each in conventional inboard drive systems.
The Prowler Open 375 is resin infused providing an extremely capable platform. Molded in two major molds with the superstructure tooling producing the entire deck, side decks, foredeck, aft deck, coaming, interior cockpit liner and deck, dash, cowl, window openings, doors, anchor lockers, cleat locations, fuel fills, etc., as a single unit countless seams are eliminated. Maintaining the design principal of the most technologically advanced, the Prowler Open 375 interior spaces are built using Nida Core Honeycomb, veneered to the highest standard resulting in a significant reduction in total weight. Polymer based honeycomb does not rot, peel or warp, ever, while offering unparalleled strength and zero maintenance.
The Prowler Open 375 delivers spectacular performance and a finer handling yacht cannot be found. In the Diesel Inboard versions, for routine service or checking fluids a simple hatch lid rises on gas cylinders affording access to coolant, lubricants and perfunctory checking. For more serious maintenance, virtually the whole cockpit section rises onto electro hydraulic rams, exposing the entire machinery room.
