How are Dual Console Boats built?
These vessels are designed and built with a walk-through center passageway running from the stern to bow of the vessel, that divides the boat down the middle, with consoles on either side. Usually, this passageway passes directly through the boat's windshield, which can typically be closed in rough seas and inclement weather. Similarly to center console boats, dual consoles utilize a V-shape hull that can handle seas better than most bowriders, without eliminating seating. More powerful models can hold motors up to a tremendous 1,346 horsepower, while more economic models may have as low as 109 horsepower engines (although the average power size is 400 HP).
