This is a spacious and well maintained cruiser with a durable reputation for dependability and endurance. This Crealock design has withstood the test of time and would make a fantastic, budget oriented bluewater cruiser!!
This boat is well equipped with a Yanmar diesel engine, full suite of sails, gps, auto pilot and much more. Accommodations / Layout
The Columbia 36' offers a very spacious working cockpit area and a comfortable cabin below. Forward is the large v-berth with forepeak access; followed by the head with shower on portside. The main salon offers a spacious U-shaped dinette the converts into a Dbl berth to port. The galley is full length across to Starboard and features a two burner alcohol stove, sink and enormous icebox (no refrigeration). The ingenious stand up navigation station is to port with a full quarter berth below. There are port & stb quarter berths. Sleeps (6) with 6'-4" headroom.
The condition of the hull paint is good but could use a buff and wax. Deck paint is poor as it's flaking off and needs to be repainted.
Interior condition for a 50 year old boat is excellent and the engine starts up immediately with no smoke.
This would make a fantastic budget, blue water cruising boat!
