Construction
Built in Egg Harbor, New Jersey, by Egg Harbor Yachts, she is Phillipine Mahogany planked over steam-bent oak ribs and frames. Decks are glassed-over marine plywood.Varnished mahogany transom. Hull and bottom wooded in 1992. Current owner purchased boat in November 1996. Restoration process 2001-2008 at Outport Yachts in S.Gardiner and from 2008 to present at the Yankee Marina in Yarmouth including new stern and new flybridge, new ribs, stem, additional cross beam for hull strength, refastening where needed, exhaust, wiring, panel. Two layers of Soundown on forward salon bulkhead, one layer under salon floor. In 2020, white topsides, black bottom paint, all brightwork done, salon corner windows sealed and tinted.
Engines
Two Detroit GM J&T 671 diesels, 6-cyl. 255 HP each. FWC via heat exchangers. Both overhauled by NE Detroit in 1999. 386 hours each. TD MG-506 gears, Groco strainers, Racor filters. 1 1/2" Aquamet SS shafts w/"I" and "V" struts, swinging bronze 4-blade 26" propellers. Dual stations, flybridge and lower, with Hynautic 'new' manually operated hydraulic system. Two bronze rudders. Bennett Trim Tabs, spur cutters. In 2020, steering gear replaced, main engines painted, valves adjusted, replaced raw water coolant pumps for engines & generator. These engines and all supporting systems have been professionally maintained and upgraded through the years of ownership.

Berths for 6. In forward cabin aft of rope locker is forward stateroom with upper and lower criss-crossing 6' 2" berths. Lockers below port berth, starboard hanging locker houses washer/dryer. Reading lights for both berths. Rodholders on ceiling. Cabintop hatch and 3 large (17" x 8") opening ports for good light and ventilation. Next aft to starboard is enclosed guest head w/sink, electric Raritan WC, and electric heater.
Next is full starboard galley with Avanti refrigerator/freezer, SS sink w/pressure hot and cold water, Princess 3-burner stove w/oven, Whirlpool dishwasher, & microwave. Exhaust fan, 84" long white Formica counter, shelving, lockers, cabinets & drawers for storage under and outboard.
To port is master stateroom with queen berth (5'wide x 7' long), cabintop hatch, two opening ports w/screens, bureau drawers, & 2 hanging lockers. Ensuite private head with sink, electric Raritan WC and separate shower w/bench.
The cabin has a teak & holly sole and varnished mahogany trim and ceiling along with original wallpaper. 6'8" headroom.
Up 4 steps into large (10'6" W x 12'4" L) salon with lower helm with destroyer wheel and full controls to port. Battery switches and updated electrical panel in cabinets along starboard side. Large windows all around with 3 Bomar windshield windows (2016) w/Vetus wipers. Wet bar w/sink & cabinet to starboard. U-Line icemaker nearby in forward bulkhead. Convertible sofa for two, small dining table with two chairs. Large TV with satellite system mounts on dash. Entire spacious salon is finished with varnished mahogany, carpeted sole with access hatch to engine room. Varnished aft salon bulkhead w/door has recently been rebuilt. 6'6" headroom throughout.
Out starboard door to 10'3" x 10'3" cockpit. Glass over plywood platform with large custom lazarette for storage. Two hatches for steering gear. Two leather seats w/covers. Shore power outlets on port side. Varnished mahogany covered decks. Varnished mahogany transom with teak swim platform. SS stanchions and bowrail around forward side decks and foredeck, with anchor windlass and pulpit. Cockpit bimini. Port teak-tred ladder to flybridge.
Flybridge offers seating for 5 with center helm seat. Full controls from helm. Wind deflector. Black canvas bimini, radar, and antenna are supported by custom aluminum arch.
This owner has upgraded or replaced about every aspect of this yacht during his 20+ year ownership. He has worked with Yankee Marine and other professionals to keep her in excellent shape attending to details. He has kept thorough records and will provide a 2020 survey of this yacht for those interested in her.
