The Spirit 23 is a bit more 23 than was made typically back in 1980. She has a bit more ballast (800 lbs) and the hull form yields a pretty stiff / stable sailing boat.
This is a trade from a couple who have taken good care of their "Baby" as evidenced by the photos recently taken. Further they have install New Cushion covers and add these to the clean nature of the boat and the way they kept the boat, you will have a boat that if free of any significant difficulty and can spend your time sailing rather than working on the boat.
Currently berthed at Sardis Lake Marina she has a 5 hp Mariner that always starts on the 1st or 2nd pull.
Feature wise she has a deep cockpit (comfortable for adults), a lift top for additional headroom and a deep step fixed transom ladder that makes getting out of the water manageable.
Buy her at the Sardis Lake Marina and save the expense to have her put back in the water in the upcoming weeks when the owners of the Spirit get their 2nd boat from Rooke Sails of even more size. Let this Fresh Water Spirit 23 be YOUR stepping stone to sailing greatness !
IT'S YOUR MOVE ! !
