Marius Corbin's personal show boatMarius Corbin was looking for a blue water cruising boat that could take him safely around the world. After a long search he chose to modify a design by Robert Dufour. By adding higher topsides and a flush deck to increase the boat’s interior volume to this existing design the Corbin 39 was born. "Stratimarius" is one of a handful of factory finished boats that were used as show boats. This particular was Marius Corbin's personal boat and the interior is shows exceptionally well. This Corbin 39 boasts a spotless engine, generator, oversize refrigeration, air conditioning, triple back up steering systems, built in sail sewing machine, flawless wicker door accents, yacht finish interior varnish, fire place and many many extras and spares.

From the cockpit you walk into the pilot house. This area has the chart table to the port with the boats systems and control panels. Directly in front of you is the inside steering station with very good forward and side views. There is a spinning window for good visibility even when mother nature is testing you. To starboard is a long settee that would make a great sea berth when underway. There is plenty of storage cabinets in the pilothouse. Aft of the chart table seat is an access door that puts you into the mechanical room with easy access to pumps, steering, refrigeration, genset, batteries and engine. The cockpit sole lifts up to give you even more access and natural light. Moving forward on the starboard side two steps down to the main salon. The fridge and freezer are on the starboard with the dining table directly in front. The galley is on the port side with large sinks, wicker faced cabinet doors and lots of storage overhead and in cabinet. The microwave is mounted under the overhead storage. She has a Seaward 3 burner with oven gas stove. Across from the table is a settee. In the table is a permanently mounted READS sewing machine that folds up when in use. Forward of the main salon is the master berth with sitting area and large double berth. Plenty of air and light access through the hatch and ports in the master berth. The head is to the starboard side between the main salon and the master berth. There is a large sink with shower wand. There are large cabinets in the head for storage. The bilge is dry and clean. There is a sea chest sump for collecting sink, shower and fridge drains to pump overboard. The interior teak finish on the boat is some of the best that I have seen. It is a soft satin finish that just glows with light. All fo the lighting inside is LED bulbs.
The large deep cockpit will have you well protected in all of mother natures worst. She has three separate steering systems with the cockpit steering, inside steering and the autopilot. The very stern has the davits and engine mount. The helm seat lifts up where the isolated gas locker is located. All of the lines are led back tot he cockpit for ease of handling sails from the cockpit. The pilot house has large windows port, starboard and forward for great sight lines. She has jack lines with the continuous rolling connection point so that you never have to unhook when going forward. The mast has leaning bars for safety while at sea. Forward there are two large lockers for anchors and gear. She is rigged with no less than three anchors at the ready! The decks are spacious and easy to get around. There are 7 large opening hatches that allow plenty of air flow and natural light in the boat.
