Trimaran „DALIBOR“
PRICE REDUCTION
The yacht Dalibor was designed and built in Australia Sydney according similar specifications as large trimaran Spirit of America. Owner helped to build Spirit and participate on delivery of Tri across Pacific to enter ocean race Around the State of Hawaii.
Upon return back to Sydney the owner built Dalibor by the stages for several years. Because yacht is demontable, the wessel was shipped by cargo ship to Europe (port of Bar in Yugoslavia) and than sailed to France. Possibility to fold the Floats toward the hull allowed motoring through French Canals to Cairns and sail to England.
In Portland-The yacht entered competition based on Speed Trials organised by Amateur Yacht Research Society.
From England yacht motored again through French Canals back to Mediterranean
and sailed to Spain where on Mar Menor near Cartagena daychartered for 10 years.
After this period owner sailed yacht back to Adriatic and folded Trimaran for transport
by truck to Czech Republic where spent several seasons on Lipno dam and Orlik dam.
Yacht is offered for Sale because of owner ill health.
