The MKI three cabin layout provides a private cabin forward with V-berth, a large aft cabin with two berths on either side of companionway steps and a nav station with a large central main salon with a separate companionway ladder providing deck access without passing through the aft cabin. A large pass through galley is between the main salon and the aft cabin on the starboard side and the head connects to both spaces on the port side.
The interior is finished in teak with a traditional teak and holly cabin sole (interior revarnished in 2006 and cabin sole revarnished 2016)
Opening overhead hatches with screens, opening portlights and dorades provide excellent natural light and ventilation
