The Sea Sprite 34 was designed by Alfred E. Luders and built by C. E. Ryder in Bristol, Rhode Island. With its long full keel it is a safe, dependable sailboat in a blow! Her classic lines and style turn heads in every harbor!
Auxiliary power is provided by a Universal diesel 3 cylinder inboard engine producing 27 hp. At 1600 RPMs this sailboat will maintain 5 knots and consume a very modest 3 quarts of fuel per hour. The sail inventory includes a mainsail in very good condition, a 130% furling Genoa and a 100% furling jib. Dousing the mainsail is controlled by the Lazy Jack system.
Electronics include a Raymarine Autopilot, a Lowrance Elite 4 GPS/Chartplotter, a Uniden VHF radio. Also included is a Ritchie compass.
The port side galley includes an insulated ice chest, a three burner propane stove with oven and hot and cold pressurized water. Opposite the galley to starboard is a navigation table. A starboard side quarter berth offers an additional berth or storage space. The main salon includes port and starboard side settees, with the starboard settee converting to a double berth. An enclosed head is forward to starboard and a v berth accommodating two is forward.
