"Cadence" is a lovely example of well thought out 38.8 design from the drawing board of Ted Hood & Dieter Empacher. 4"6 board up allows for shoal drafted sailing, 10"3 board down to increases performance. Her elegant sheer-line, long overhangs, and Bristol quality construction make for a true classic that is sure to be the prettiest boat in the harbor.

Molded high-impact fiberglass reinforced polyester resin, large woven roving. Hull and deck thicknesses vary to suit structural demands. Deckhouse, deck, and cockpit are integrally molded. Deck clamp and cove stripe molded with hull. Non-skid pattern molded into deck, seats, and cabin top. Opening hatch forward is large enough to permit handling sail bags. All rails, coaming covers, and high toe rail are varnished teak.

Stepping down from the companionway, there is a nav-station and quarter berth starboard aft.
The L-shaped galley is aft to port complete with Alder-Barbour refrigeration, 3-Burner propane stove/ oven, a double stainless sink and plenty of cabinet storage.
The spacious salon has long port and starboard settees with a centerline double-leaf dinette table. The cabin is equipped with CruiseAir reverse-cycle heat/air conditioning and 12-Volt fans throughout.
