Launched in 1987 and built by N.Q.E.A in Cairns, Australia, Tiger IV is a 23m fast alloy tourist catamaran with a capacity of up to 250 passengers.
Currently located in the Pacific Islands, Tiger IV is powered by two MTU series 2000 12V diesel engines PLD, 1000HP, providing a 20-knot cruise speed. Both engines have been replaced during the past two years with second-hand engines from New Zealand with ZF transmissions.
There is an abundance of passenger seating, with the main deck lounge accommodating 100 pax while the upper bridge deck also seats 100 pax. The sun deck, accessed from the upper bridge deck, also provides additional limited seating for 50 pax.
