The Island Hopper 30 offers a 12-foot beam for unmatched stability and comfort while trolling or at anchor. She planes out quickly, providing fast speed and economical operating costs. Hull design has a deep-V entry forward changing to a flat three-degree deadrise aft. Double-wide chines and a self-bailing deck are also strong points. Beam at widest point is 12 feet 4 inches. Freeboard is 58 inches at the bow, 40 inches at the transom. Draft is 26 inches. Hull construction is of hand-laminated glass, woven roving of eight to 18 laminations resulting in a one- to two-inch layer in the bottom of the hull.
