History
Approximately 19 of these outstanding cruising boats were built. The first 14 were built by Heritage Yachts in Canada, the final five were built by Cape Dory. Tarshish was built by Heritage with a custom interior.
James McCurdy (of McCurdy and Rhodes) was the designer and is thought to have owned one of the Intrepid 35’s as his own boat.
Lollygag III is set up for extended cruising and live-aboard capability, although it makes an excellent weekender as well. It has been lovingly maintained and upgraded by it past owners.
