African Affair is a terrific example of the popular, South African built Norseman 43 built by Voyage Catamarans. Designed by Alexander Simonis to be a comfortable but speedy cat with a low center of gravity and wide beam.
African Affair has the more desired "owner's version" with the starboard hull outfitted for the owner.
She is equipped to sail the oceans of the world and has done two circumnavigations! Onboard are Raymarine electronics, AIS, Radar, Spectra watermaker, air conditioning, newer dinghy and outboard and a 6 man liferaft.
She is powered by twin Yanmar 27 hp diesel engines
African Affair was commissioned by a German couple in 1999.
The owner had taken possession and sailed around the world and sold the boat after 8 years they also sailed around the world and had the boat for 9 years.
African Affair is a very coddled yacht where she has only been owned & sailed by truly caring owners.
Currently, the boat was purchased by a Canadian couple who have only put minimal hours and sailing time in the Bahamas.
