Manufacturer Provided Description
The Nordic Tug 32 is a fuel efficient cruising vessel featuring classic Nordic Tug styling. She is built in the USA and is equipped with a standard 270 Cummins diesel engine. As with all Nordic Tugs, the 32 has a semi-displacement hull built with hand-laid heavily reinforced fiberglass with full keel and hard chine, giving her exceptional stability and handling qualities. This very popular cruising vessel features a roomy salon/galley and separate pilothouse with a 360 degree view and 6'8" headroom. Forward is an island berth stateroom with head and large separate stall shower. The roomy salon has a large settee that converts into an oversized double berth.
Interior
Step into the aft salon on Crown Prince and you will first notice the 360 degree views and secondly all the sunlight flowing in from the outside. This salon offers a large settee that turns into a berth, and a good size well equipped kitchen with stove, oven, sink and refrigerator. This area has storage everywhere you look and is the passageway to the main helm. Step up into the main helm and the views just keep getting better. The helm has seating for the skipper plus 3 to 4 more and is truly a front row seat to the action on the water. From here, you can step down into the v-berth where you will find a roomy bathroom with full size shower and bunks for 4. The ample storage theme is continued in the v-berth.
On Deck
This 32 Nordic has 3 outside areas for fishing, socializing, or just laying out in the sun. The back deck starts with a large swim step and a walk through door to enter the back deck. The deck has a large storage box that doubles as a seat and holds your propane tank for the kitchen stove. There is also a deck hatch to access your bilge and fuel tank. Above the deck there is room for storage of pots, a dinghy or lawn chairs. Crown Prince is also armed with walk around decks to access the bow from either the port or starboard sides.
Engine and Mechanical
This Nordic is powered by a very reliable Cummins 6BTA 270 HP engine that pushes her through the water around 11 knots while only burning between 4-5 gallons an hour. She is also furnished with a Northern Lights diesel generator that will keep the batteries fresh and allow you to run the house systems when at anchor. Speaking of being at anchor, Crown Prince is rigged with a 33 pound Bruce anchor and a McMurray electric anchor wench to complete your ground tackle needs. She is also armed with a trolling valve and a bow thruster to make docking and departure a breeze.
Electrical and Electronics
Crown Prince is decked out with a full arsenal of electronics. The main helm has a Raymarine radar & sounder, Raytheon autopilot, Icom VHF, and a Furuno C-Map GPS unit. From the main helm the captain can also engaged the troll valve, run the remote spotlight and check all the Cummins gauges that include the bilge pumps and engine alarms.
