Going down below in this Cabo Rico 42 you feel as though you have just entered a luxurious floating home away from home. She is so inviting and cozy and a family can easily and comfortably cruise aboard this boat. The interior finish is of teak veneers and tambour over solid wood bulkheads is perfect. The master stateroom forward features a queen berth and is lined with louvered opening lockers on both sides, with a large hanging locker to starboard. There is access to the divided rope locker forward and lots of storage below. The dressing seat and large mirror make dressing for your evening at your new island destination a synch.
Just aft and to port is the large head and separate shower stall with a teak bench. There is a stainless steel sink, a Vacuflush marine toilet, a teak trimmed mirror, good ventilation and good light.
The main cabin amidships has a settee to starboard and the dinette type seating to port with stowage outboard and below.
The main salon is just beautiful and the soft leatherette settee cushions on the straight settee to starboard and on the L shaped settee to port surrounding the dinette are so soft and comfortable. The beautiful dinette boasts custom wine bottle storage underneath and can also be converted into a huge double berth.
There is a traditional navigation station to starboard aft of the straight settee with a bench and an opening chart table. The nav station has all the electronics you will need, and more, and the electrical panels are all in nice view and easy reach.
The aft stateroom is just aft of the navigation station to starboard and has a double berth and plenty of stowage compartments. The cabinetry is beautiful. There is access to the generator from this stateroom.
Lastly, the amazing U-shaped galley (could be called a kitchen because it is so roomy and well equipped) is just aft of the dinette. The galley, along with the rest of the interior of this beautiful boat, is really a cruiser’s dream come true.
