Accomodations
Starting aft, one enters the cockpit from her large swim platform thru gate in transom on the starboard side. Just ahead is the well equipped wet bar with ice maker, refridgerator and sink with pressure water. To port is a large transom bench seat that with filler cushions converts this seat to a sunpad, removable table for this area. Moving forward one finds an L-shaped seat to port and opposite the double wide adjustable helm seat. Both seats have storage compartments underneath. She has a full camper canvas enclosure with an electronics arch. The arch allows the canvas to be broken into 2 sections so one can have shade on the helm deck while opening up the cockpit for sunning or keep the whole out side area covered. The owners have just replaced all the carpet for bridge deck and cockpit. As we enter the cabin from the companionway one will find the enclose head with separate shower stall to port with a fully equipped galley just forward. She has attractive cherry wood cabinetry with lots of drawers and nooks for storage. Opposite to starboard is a solid wood table in front of the U-shaped settee. The settee base has a variety of drawers and storage compartments. The tabletop drops to create an additional sleeping berth when needed. Just forward of the settee, the wood cabinetry holds a flat screen TV that slides out and rotates for viewing in any part of the cabin. All the way forward is the master berth separated via a curtain for privacy. Large double berth with hatch above and opening ports in the hull sides. Great for ventilation and light. The aft cabin is tucked under the bridge deck and can be another seating area or with filler cushion makes into another large double berth, This too has a privacy curtain. The 342's head compartment has just over 6 feet of headroom throughout, even in the enclosed shower stall. The 6 gallon hot water heater has a heat exchanger connection with one of the engines, for maximum efficiency.
