Down through the companionway of the Caliber 40LRC you enter the Galley. It is equipped with a double sink with hot and cold pressure water, a Seagull water purification system and back-up foot pump for fresh water and storage below. An attractive L-shaped Corian counter extends to the left with additional storage cabinets, a Frigiboat refrigerated split ice box with freezer ( Both freezer and refrigerator are separate systems and have their own separate thermostats ), and a Force 10 propane stove and oven with broiler and storage under for pots and pans. Microwave oven new in 2017. Two opening ports and overhead hatch provide ample ventilation and light. The galley has it's own fan.
Just aft of the galley is the Navigation Station with opening port, 12 Volt and 110 Volt circuit breaker panels, and electronics suite including Simrad AP, Furuno DS, Vesper AIS sending and receiving transponder, Furuno GPS, Furuno Radar with MFD, XM Weather receiver and Furuno WX receiver, Icom 602 DSC VHF with foghorn, RAM Mic, Comm-Nav instrument suite ( wind unit currently non-functioning due to bird attack ). External antenna/Charging Dock for Globalstar Sat. phone ( no phone )
Across from the nav station is the Guest cabin, with double-berth w/ storage under, (2) opening ports and overhead hatch, a large cedar-lined hanging locker w/shelf and varnished teak ceiling planks..
Forward of the guest cabin is the Aft head with Raritan toilet, sink w/hot and cold fresh water with shower. Additional storage in two lockers, mirror and opening port.
Forward is the Main Salon starboard settee facing an L-shaped settee on the port side. All cushions are Ultra-Leather new in 2012. The L-shaped settee coverts into a double berth if needed. Adjacent to the settee a large bi-fold hinged dining table folds down and has a leaf that extends to the facing settee. Storage for bottles, glasses and books hide behind the table in the up position. Six stainless opening ports with screens and a mid-ships hatch with OceanAir screen and black-out shade provide ample light and ventilation. A brass Weems and Plath clock and Barometer are bulkhead mounted next to the table. Storage is provided both behind the verticle cushion backs and under the settee cushions. A varnished teak and holly cabin sole extends throughout the interior.
Through a door forward you enter the Master Suite with a double berth to port with storage under, varnished teak ceiling planks, overhead OceanAir equipped hatch, four stainless opening ports, two large hanging lockers, vanity with mirror and additional storage. The forward bulkhead has a Weems and Plath atomic clock with a large dial. All of the custom-fitted sheets, bedspread, pillow covers and cushions were done by Yacht Interiors of Annapolis. Forward through another door is the en-suite head with Lavac manual vacuum-assisted commode 2015, stall shower, opening ports and lots of storage.
