The Sunseeker XS 2000 is the result of a collaboration between Sunseeker and the designer Fabio Buzzi.
A review by Power & Motoryacht magazine describes: “A squarish bow was strikingly unusual, a state of affairs undoubtedly attributable to Sunseeker’s partnership on the XS project with Italian boat racer, designer, and engineer Fabio Buzzi. The reason for the snub-nosed look lay just below the edge of the deck: a set of dramatically flared, moulded bulges on either side of a fiercely raked stem. They’re Buzzi’s way of adding buoyancy to cut the chance of stuffing the nose into a wave at high speed."
The on-deck layout is innovative: between the forward anchor locker and the cockpit there is nearly full-beam hatch which slides away to reveal a small forward cockpit, double vee-berth (albeit with limited headroom) and a heads compartment. Effectively, this forward cockpit provides a convertible open-air lounge deck.
The cockpit has two standing seats with a bench behind (presently left open) which can be configured to an owner’s requirement should they require additional seating. The cockpit is well-equipped with full instrumentation , chart plotter, VHF and back up GPS plotter. Throttles and controls for the two speed transmission lie easily to hand.
Aft of the cockpit is a large sized sundeck with boarding built into the stern.
This fabulous Sunseeker will reach 76mph with tankage sufficient for a range of about 300 miles.
