This MARLOW 65 EXPLORER for sale is a long-range cruising yacht, liveaboard, self-sufficient passage maker designed by a highly experienced Owner for spending weeks aboard, gallivanting about the coast. This motor yacht of exceptional beauty is comfortable, dependable, and conceived for extended cruising in comfort and security.
The MARLOW 65 EXPLORER is constructed on a fully cored hull with a shallow center keel and twin foil-shaped struts running along each prop shaft - a twin keel configuration said to improve tracking while permitting the boat to run aground without damage.
Inside, the salon features a large L-shaped seating area to starboard, opposite the entertainment center with flat screen TV. There is a comfortable sofa to port between the entertainment center and the bar with wine cooler, providing additional salon seating as well as 2 puffs.
The full-service galley is located just aft of the main deck steering station in the pilothouse, three steps up forward of the salon and facing an indoors dining area.
Luxurious accommodation with mirrored ceilings for space enhancement, is ensured by 3 staterooms and 3 heads belowdecks: the amidships master suite has a walkaround king bed, en-suite bathroom stall shower, while the forward VIP stateroom has a queen berth, and the port guest stateroom offers two twin beds, each with en-suite bathrooms as well. Crew quarters with a double berth and full head are aft, accessed from the transom.
This Trawler is finished in massive burmese Teak (satin finish) with Ivory colour ceilings and head linings. The galley features granite counter-tops and all Miele high-quality appliances, with two sets of refrigerators in the galley along with oven, and microwave/convection oven.
Her 3 cabins are finished in lighter colour maple wood, which provides great luminosity.
Fitted with upgraded, low hour 1015 Hp CAT C18 Diesel engines, she has a top speed of 22 knots, and a maximum continuous cruise of 16.5, while economically navigating at 10 knots with very low fuel consumption (only 45 l/h total for both engines).
