With this classic long-keel sloop "Este 94" tradition and high tech are gracefully and skilfully combined to deliver the best cruising experience! An ocean-cruiser of 29 meters with the most advanced composite hull construction carried out on the "Cantiere Navali D'Este" shipyard in Rome, Italy. The story of the shipyard begins in 1955 when Gino D'Este transfers his yard from Venice to Fiumicino in Rome. With this project the yard presents a sailing yacht with a perfect mix of tradition and cutting-edge solutions, where simplicity, elegance and luxury find their personal interpretation in the highly detailed approach of experiencing the sea in an intimate and ancestral way.
The ocean-cruise Este 94 lines originate from an idea by the Dutch designer Frans Maas who, inspired by the elegant water lines of Latifa, designed by William Fife in 1931, created a hull which is both classic and has excellent marine qualities. The design philosophy is carried out by a young and talented Spanish designer Sito Aviles Ramos from Balance Arquitectura Naval SA.
The hull and deck construction is completed and visible in Rome. The rigging is projected with a mast carbon profile of 600 kg (visible in Genoa), and a sailplan with a sail area of the full-batten mainsail of 167 sqm, yankee sail of 180 sqm and a gennaker of 300 sqm. The bow is designed to open up for a storage room for the tender. The colour of the hull and interior arrangements can be customised by the future owner and will be carried out upon agreements with the Este shipyard.
For inspiration for the future owner the Este shipyard has worked out a rendering project to illustrate two possible solutions for interior arrangements:
- Owner version with a comfortable large owner cabin and arrangements for crew
- Charter version with up to minimum 5 cabins, 5 toilets and with up to a total of 12 berths.
The deck and the classic cabin top are the results of the style and experience of the shipyard's designers. They let you take advantage of the spacious sunbathing areas and you can walk freely from bow to stern. Interiors are spacious and designed for the best comfort while maintaining a classic style.
All photos displayed in the advertisement are rendering photos. To get an better idea of the Este 94 project the already completed classic long-keel sloop Este 72, also originated from an idea by Frans Maas, can be viewed at the shipyard in Rome.
