2019 Custom Classic Sloop

The Eagle 54 is a collaboration between Hoek Design and Leonardo Yachts. The Eagle 54 has elegant, classic lines combined with modern features and a modern underwater body.

The boat is designed with shorthanded cruising in mind with a spacious and luxurious cockpit and a grand saloon with the owners berth located forward. As the 54 will be a semi custom boat you can decide not from 2 interior layouts but also the interior styling can be chosen. A traditional mahogany or teak interior is possible but also modern design is possible with for example four club chairs.

With halyards and the jib sheets running below the teak deck the Eagle 54 will have an ultra sleek deck layout. For ease of handling the jib winches are positioned within reach of the helmsman. The standard rigging is alumunium, cabon spars are option as is an inboom furling mainsail. An extensive hydraulic package will allow you to adjust the jib halyard tension, jib car position, vang and backstay position all from the helm.

All these systems will ensure the Eagle 54 can be sailed single-handed. Sailing an Eagle should be uncomplicated fun. And with her only 9 tons displacement the Eagle 54 will turn heads not only by looking beautiful but also because of her sailing characteristics.
