THE SAFFIER SE 33 ULTIMATE DAYSAILER HAS 2 OPTIONS OF INTERIOR
THE SAFFIER SE 33 UD FAMILY
This interior is made for 4 persons to sleep. A large luxury bed in the front. The toilet* is placed underneath this bed. In addition you can make the complete forehead as one large toilet room, leaving the beds out. In the centre of the boat you will find the cooking facilities with a fridge and lockers. The 2 saloon seats run al the way underneath the cockpit benches providing a length of 2.50m and can be used as sleeping spaces.
*Optional, you can choose for a Bulkhead to seperate the V-berth/toilet space from the saloon.

This interior is made for 2 persons to sleep. A very large luxury bed in the front, 2 lounge seats with backrest in saloon with a dedicated toilet room on the port side. On the starboard side you have the cooking facilities together with a fridge* and lockers to stow away your dishes and glasses.
*Optional, you can choose for a bulkhead to seperate the V-berth from the saloon.

SAFFIER SE 33, ULTIMATE DAYSAILER
The Saffier Se 33 UD is designed as a daysailer with extraordinary sailing potential in combination with a luxury feel of sailing. A powerfull rigg, fast underwater hull in combination with a modern keel, a fixed carbon bowsprit* for a code zero sail* and vacuum building technics makes the Saffier Se 33 UD a light and fast yacht while sailing in total comfort.
ONE-HANDED SAILING
The Saffier Se 33 UD can be sailed totaly by the helmsmen alone. The mainsail, self tacking jib, code- zero or genaker and all sheet and halyards which run underdeck can be operated at the winch consoles while staying behind the helm. All lines can be operated manually or with electrical winch. The cockpit has room for 10 persons & is made so that the aft deck can be used as a sunbathing platform and the folding transom makes easy acces to the water. The port and starboard benches are 2 m long and offers lots of space while sailing or relaxing in harbour or at anchor.

SELF RIGHTING, SELF-DRAINING AND SEAWORTHY
The Saffier Se 33 UD is seaworthy, self-righting, has a self draining cockpit and can be used on any kind of water. Saffier yachts has built over 450 Saffiers over the past 15 years. Most of them where built according to the standard concept with added options. However if you want your Saffier highly customized to fit your own needs , we are happy to fulfill every wish if technically possible. Over the years we have build Saffiers to be a tender on mega yachts, changing a rig to your type of area or modify the interior to your liking. Hull.
Built up according to the sandwich principle with ISO geloat and resin. Fibreglass around the keel section reinforced with roving to 22mm thickness. 4 ribs laminated in keel section to transfer forces of keel loads. Water and cove lines laminated in gelcoat.
Deck
Built up according to the sandwich principle, anti-slip structure in gelcoat laminated into deck and cockpit floor. Deck is finished with toe rails with water drainage outlets. 4 folding clamps. An anchor well is incorporated in the front deck. A Flush hatch is incorporated in the deck for daylight and ventilation inside the boat. A rail for the self tacking jib has been incorporated in front of mast. The aft deck has a hatch providing access to storage area and a hatch for a fridge outside.
Keel
Solid lead installed with 4 x 22 mm nuts and bolts. Total draft 1.40 m or the race keel of 1.70 m draft.
Cockpit
Very spacious self draining cockpit with sufficient space fot 10 persons. Two wheels for great overall view on sails, deck and surroundings. All sheets, halyards, reefing lines and kicking-strap are lead underdeck to the helmsmen and can be operated by one person at the helm by hand or electrical winches. Cockpit is laminated with standard anti slip structure. The cockpit gives good back support, a wide seating area and sufficient depth for maximum comfortable seating. A cockpit table* can be fitted in the cockpit floor. The aft deck can be used as a bathing platform and has easy access with a folding transom to the water.
Interior Family

Engine

Yanmar 2YM15, 2 cilinder 14 hp saildrive with dashboard complete with time and rotation counter and alarms. • Maintenance free engine battery 12V 55AH. • Ships battery* 75 12V- 75. • 32 l. stainless steel diesel fuel tank.
Rudder
A balanced rudder with 2 steering wheels in cockpit. A self steer autopilot* can be installed. Navigation lights At the bow a port and starboard light, a stern light, a top light (3 colors) and a engine light.
Technical equipment
All valves, skin lead-throughs and ventilators are made of brass. All tubes and wiring have been tested according to the ISO and CE norms.
Rigging
Mast, spreaders and boom are made of aluminum type Selden. The fittings and rigging are made of high quality stainless steel. Boom has been fitted with two reefs. A genaker* or code zero* can be used on a carbon bowspirit*. Main rigging, low rigging, front and back stay are made of stainless steel wire with rigging tensioners. Sails Made from high quality dacron that has been through a stiffening process to make the sails keep their shape and hardwearing. Mainsail comes standard with 2 reefs.
Instruments*
A wind/speed/depth display can be placed om the mast underneath the boom. An autopilot can be installed underneath deck.
