Valid for Life

If you register your boat under the Polish flag, your boat will be registered for life. Once you register your boat, yacht or jet ski in Poland, you will secure a registration without need for renewal. Since Poland is a member of the European Union, the registration of a boat in Poland is a great option for leisure boats, operators, charters and owners of private yachts.

Owners of commercial yachts can also register for the same price as a leisure boat. For owners of private yachts, a yacht inspection will not be necessary, which will help save some money.

Available for EU and non-EU Yacht Owners

Yacht registration in Poland can be obtained by any person in possession of a valid passport anywhere in the world. You do not need to be a Polish citizen to acquire one. From 2021, non-EU citizens can also register their yacht directly in their name in Poland. Previously, this was only an option for EU citizens. Those outside of the EU had to establish a business within the EU to register a boat in Poland, which entailed a lot more work and additional costs. Now this is no longer necessary; you can register a yacht of up to 24 metres without being an EU citizen, regardless of your country of residence.

Lower Costs

Thanks to the new regulations established by the administrative authorities, both the initial and annual costs of registering a yacht in Poland have been reduced, which is a great advantage for all yacht owners.

The complete registration of a yacht in Poland tends to be between £407.72 and £579.39, depending mainly on the length of the yacht. The provisional registration certificate is also included.
