Boat Details

Description

The Hallberg-Rassy 54 is a logical progression in German Frers design for Hallberg-Rassy's Blue Water yacht in this sector. The aft hull sections are broader with an improved planing section aft of the stern gear compared to her predecessor, giving her better off-the-wind performance. Combine this with a longer waterline and reduced wetted surface area she achieves what all offshore yachtsmen are looking for: better sailing performance and less motoring.

QUANDARY was commissioned in 2008 her first owner sailed her in the Adriatic for 2 seasons and returned to Hamble in 2010 where her current owner took possession. QUANDARY has been based close to our offices at Hamble Point Marina and cruised locally. Her condition shows she has been carefully maintained, she is kept ashore most winters, sometimes undercover as can be seen from the excellent condition of her teak decks. The story cis continued below deck where heaters and dehumidifiers maintain a dry atmosphere that does not drop below 10 degrees in the winter, her joinery and upholstery are practically unmarked.

QUANDARY is afloat at Hamble Point Marina on a berth which can be made available with the yacht. With the minimum of recommissioning, she could be ready for her new owner to enjoy the coming season call +44 (0)23 8045 4000 to book a viewing.
