This 465’ Accommodations Work Vessel was converted in 2010. It is a DP-2 offshore accommodations vessel for up to 450 personnel plus 73 in crew. In addition, there are a number of offices, workshops and 3000 m2 of under deck storage. There is 400 m2 clear aft deck space. The ship is designed to provide safe,efficient housing and repair capacity for offshore projects.
From a logistics perspective, the vessel offers a project management hub with offices, satellite communications, conference rooms, training and mass briefing facilities. Personnel are transported safely and efficiently via a heave compensated gangway integrated into the DP II system. Finally, the vessel offers a floating ship yard facility with 3,000 m2 of under cover work area, a 50 T crane and hatch for transportation of equipment and repair (pipe, welding, machining, NDT, blast and paint) and storage facilities.
The accommodation is made up with a combination of single and double berth cabins within the main superstructure of the vessel. The facilities are quiet, spacious and well equipped with en-suite bathrooms.The recreational facilities include a library, two internet cafes, multiple television lounges,cinema and generous gymnasium and sports facilities. There are also a number of restaurants and eating areas.
