This Tashing Tattoosh has had alot of recent updates to include, new 70 hp Yanmar, new V-drive, new underwater drive train, teak decks on sides removed and glassed over in Baja Naval (an excellent job), new S/S anchor and more. All deck paint is very fresh and alot of fresh hull paint. The woodwork is awesome inside and the layout is very accommodating with a larger shower stall, lots of storage space, and great galley counter space with a double comp. sink and salt and fresh water available. She will easily sleep six and has the nicest open salon to galley set up.! This boat is very clean.and if you like good craftsmanship the wood is exquisite!!
Her 70 hp Yanmar was new a coupkle of years ago and has a reported 500 hrs. The shaft prop and pedro gland was done about a year ago and the Vdrive is new. A very solid reliable package for years to come. Her standing rigging is fresh and clean, her teak decks have been pulled and glassed over with fresh paint a very good job! Forward is a S/S anchor and roller furling for sail. The mast is an upgrade to a seldon carbon fiber mast from sweden. There is alot of fresh hull paint and no name on the back for a clean slate to put the name of your choice.
Forward is a full vberth with hanging locker and storage is good. Then aft to port is a settee that is u shaped and has the same U shape accross with a folding table in the middle. Above are two large hatches that open forward and aft for air, a very nice and unique design, it allows for four corner screw down to prevent leaking. Then heading aft to port is the head with electric toilet and a large stall shower. Dual entry from the companionway and the aft stateroom makes great access. Aft of the head ia a double berth stateroom with drawers and locker storage. Accross is the galley with three burner stove and oven on gimballs, lots of counter space and a double compartment sink having both salt and fresh water available. This area joins the salon nicely and appears very airy and open. Aft of the galley is a nice nav station and desk with a quarter berth behind it. A very nice layout with rounded walls and awesome woodwork. All around the cabin floor the sole is recessed from the cabinetry, a great place for some custom lighting. There are a couple of kerosene lamps in the salon that are original and quite tasteful with character. This boat is very up and dialed!!! No maintenance just dress her as you wish!!!!!!
There is a nice JRC radar at the Nav Station along with a GPS Chartplotter and VHF radio. A recent addition is the new autopilot. The cockpit has a full bimini and there is a dodger framing ready for new canvas.
