Entirely built by Cape Dory Yachts, Inc. in Taunton, Massachusetts in 1986. The semi-displacement hull and deck/cabin assembly are fiberglass. The molded-in skeg adds protection to the rudder and propeller. The interior woodwork is primarily varnished teak. Her exterior teak trim is finished with Cetol. Engine access is in the wheelhouse. The teak swim platform with stainless steel ladder is off the transom. White topsides, navy boot stripe, blue bottom, painted in the winter of 2020-21 and was not launched in 2021.

Landfall offers accommodations for four. Aft of the anchor locker forward are the two light blue and white striped cushioned vee berths with a filler cushion to make one large double berth. Shelves are outboard and large lockers below. Two opening ports and a cabin-top hatch offer good natural light and ventilation, along with reading lights over each berth.A blue curtain separates forward stateroom from the main cabin.
Next aft to port is a hanging locker, followed by a large enclosed head with a stainless steel sink with hot & cold pressure water, counter space, and locker below, and the area for the toilet. The sellers removed the composting toilet which is available upon request to a buyer. The plumbing and holding tank are on board if a buyer installs a marine toilet.
In the aft starboard cabin is the galley with a 2-burner alcohol stove, a large top-loading icebox, a top-loading storage locker, and a stainless steel sink with hot & cold pressure water. The microwave oven is over the hanging locker. There is storage space outboard and drawers and locker below the Formica-covered counter.
White bulkheads and ceiling, teak trim and woodwork, teak and holly sole with white port light curtains throughout cabin. The cabin heater is plumbed to heat the wheel house also. Cabin headroom is 6 feet.
Up two steps through the center-line companionway into the wheelhouse with the helm to starboard. The electrical panel is integrated into the dash forward of the steering wheel along with the engine gauges. Electronics are also on the dash and overhead. Two-lever engine controls are outboard, as is the VHF radio. The 3-window windshield (with opening center window) with port and starboard windows with electric wipers. Sliding side windows offer excellent visibility and ventilation. Pedestal captain's chair at helm, L-shaped light blue and white striped cushioned settee on port side that converts to a double berth. Pedestaled teak drop-leaf dining table. Teak and holly sole. Wheelhouse headroom is 6'2".
Through the starboard aft door is the 7'L x 8'3"W cockpit. Fiberglass sole with two hatches and decks with bronze deck hardware. A removable canvas awning extends from the wheelhouse. Stainless steel grab rails surround the cockpit and life lines are installed from the aft wheelhouse to bow rail. Several handrails on wheelhouse exterior and top and cabin top. Radar dome, antenna, horn, and search light on wheelhouse top as well. A teak swim platform with stainless steel ladder is mounted on the transom for access to the cockpit.
