Originally delivered to Lake Superior, this boat has been kept on the Great Lakes since new and has been lovingly cared for by the current owners since 2013.

Accommodations
The Grand Banks 42 Classic has the ideal layout for extending cruising for a couple, guests, and family. This boat is capable of sleeping four comfortably, and can stretch to six if needed.
The master stateroom is aft and features a custom built queen bed with an ensuite dry head. The forward vee-berth sleeps two guests and has a wet-head with a shower curtain. Both heads feature Raritan electric toilets.
The main salon has a large galley, helm with optional seat, ice maker, and new refrigeration and freezer. The galley features a microwave, large stainless sink, a Princess three burner electric cooktop and oven, tons of storage and countertop space.
Aft of the helm seat is a bar with icemaker, with comfortable settee and two chairs. To port is a bench seat, a freezer, and a flat screen tv.
There are pilothouse doors both port and starboard that lead to the side decks.
The boat features three air conditioning units, one in the forward cabin, one in the main salon, and a third in the aft cabin.

The helm area of Meritage features the factory optioned helm seat, varnished steering wheel, Morse controls, and the following electronics:

Flybridge

Hull and Deck
This 42 Classic features teak decks, hand and cap rails.
There is a Delta anchor with 250ft of all-chain rode, and an Ideal windlass with foot pedals at the base of the bow pulpit and remote switches at the helm. This boat also features the optional built in seat just aft of the pulpit, with storage inside.
There are dual 30 AMP cord connections both fore and aft.
The aft deck features a large lazarette with tons of storage. The teak swim platform has a custom built comeaboard staff with mount for boarding from a floating dock or a dinghy.
