This model was designed by Ian Farrier and commercially introduced in 1986 after the prototype first sailed in May 1985. It has a length overall of 27.08 ft , a waterline length of 26.25 ft, and displaces 2,600 lb Corsair 27. This model was designed by Ian Farrier and built between 1986 and 1997

The renowned Steve Marsh then thoroughly checked and upgraded it at the Finish Line of the Treasure Coast in Stuart, Florida. At this time a Harken roller furler and Dacron sails were added plus a comprehensive bottom job.
