This 58' pilothouse motor yacht was drawn by W.I.B. Crealock and built by Knight & Carver Custom Yachts of San Diego out of fiberglass and composite materials in 1991.
This was Frank Trane’s personal vessel and his attention to detail and design can be found throughout Hallelujah making her truly one of a kind, and well suited for extending cursing.The exterior of the vessel is very nice, clean and well maintained. The interior of the vessel is also very clean and well maintained.There's a chain locker located in the forepeak followed aft by a guest head with stall shower, toilet and vanity sink. Next aft both port and starboard are guest staterooms each with two single over under bunks. Next port is a day head with toilet and vanity sink. Next aft down steps is the master stateroom with island double wide bunk and ensuite head. The master head is fitted with stall shower, toilet and vanity sink. Aft within the master stateroom is access to the machinery bilge. Starboard from the master head companionway up steps is the pilothouse with helm forward fitted with a nice array of quality older electronics. Port and starboard are weather deck doors with a dinette and pilot bunk aft. Next starboard are steps to the boat deck along with steps down to the U shaped galley port. The galley is nicely appointed with quality appliances and counter tops. The saloon is aft with an L shaped dinette, entertainment equipment with a weather deck door port. Exiting the climate controlled teak joinery interior aft is the cockpit deck with settee and transom door. Port and starboard are weather decks leading to the foredeck where the ground tackle is located. The boat deck is atop the saloon and galley and is fitted with a RIB and davit along with antenna mast.
Hallelujah's is powered by a pair of MAN D2840LXE diesel inboard motors, each producing approximately 603 Kw @ 2300 RPM. The main engines are driving Twin Disc MG NV 232X reduction gear V drive transmissions each turning a ratio of 1.77:1. The main engines and two Northern Lights gensets are located beneath the aft deck and saloon sole accessed from the cockpit deck. The engine room is clean and well maintained.The fuel system consists of three tanks plumbed to the machinery via copper tube and high pressure neoprene hose. The fuel system is further fitted with Racor primary filters, shutoff valves, transfer pump, filter and gallon meter. The main engines are controlled by Electrohelm dual lever electronic controls from four stations.
Hallelujah’s DC power is supplied by a battery source consisting of 8D & 4D batteries. The AC power is supplied by either a 50 Amp 125 / 250 VAC shore power inlets fitted with a Matra 12 Kva isolation transformer, one of two Northern Lights 12 Kw gensets with various select branch circuits also being able to be powered by a Trace SW 4024 inverter / charger. The vessels electrical system consists of branch overload protected circuits via resettable breakers and replaceable fuses. The main electrical panels are located in the pilothouse with additional switching and or circuit protection within the machinery bilge.
