SAFE Boats is an industry leader in strong, high performance, seaworthy aluminum watercraft, primarily used in commercial, law enforcement, and military applications.
MerL’eau is the first pleasure craft built by SAFE on their 33’ Full Cabin platform. In a complete departure from their normal utilitarian builds, MerL’eau was built as a go-anywhere, do anything, in any conditions, yacht. She is a very unique vessel. Whatever you want to do or wherever you want to go, you’ll get there in complete safety and comfort. Besides that, this boat has an impressive, somewhat imposing, no-nonsense look about it. Some might call it Bad Ass! People flock to it to find out what it is.
Besides the renowned SAFE Boats capabilities and build quality, she features high end custom cherry cabinetry, Corian countertops, a full galley with stove, refrigerator, microwave and dimmable lighting, and composite teak sole. Her main salon has seating for four, five with the fold-up jump seat. Forward is a very comfortable sleeping cabin with a large double berth, seat and hanging locker and drawers. There is a completely enclosed head with shower aft and even a fully equipped “Flying Bridge”.
She is rigged for downrigger fishing and has a line hauler for crabbing or prawning. The cockpit is fully enclosed and self-bailing. She can be beached and has an opening bow section with a ladder to get off and on the boat. Plus, there are two bow rollers for anchoring.
No matter where you want to go or what you want to do, this vessel will get it done in safety, comfort and style. And you'll never see another one like it! Be ready to show it off!
