2017 29' COBIA 296 CENTER CONSOLE
*Off-Site Brokerage Listing - Please Call To Schedule Your Viewing*
This yacht is being offered to you through our luxury brokerage division, National Yacht Sales!
Introduced in 2012 as Cobia’s flagship model, the 296 Center Console is a competitively priced fishing platform whose level deck layout provides secure footing from bow to stern. Recessed bow rails extend back to the helm area, and the Cobia’s high freeboard results in an unusually deep and secure cockpit for a boat this size.
Also notable is the roomy step-down head compartment (with forward entry) of the 296 where an electric head, two opening ports, sink, and hand-held shower are standard. Split forward seats are a plus—they make it easy to get around in the bow area. Both helm seats have drop-down bolsters, and the dash has space for two big-screen video displays.
Fishing features include two 28-gallon recirculating livewells in the transom, a pair of big in-deck fish boxes in the cockpit sole, leaning post with tackle storage, gunnel rod holders (8), and under-gunnel rod storage. A fold-out transom seat, cockpit coaming pads, trim tabs, fresh and raw-water washdowns, and pull-up cleats are standard. The deluxe hardtop (optional) has outriggers, an electronics box, and three rod holders on each aft leg. Yamaha 300hp outboards deliver a top speed of 50+ knots.

The Cobia 296 CC is designed big to handle any conditions Mother Nature throws its way. It also fishes big with twin 28 gallon livewells and a cavernous cockpit with flip down aft seating and two in-deck 64″ macerated fishboxes. All the lures, leaders and terminal gear you own will fit neatly into the tackle organizers in the leaning post and console and your dead baits will be kept fresh and ready for rigging in the two insulated boxes in the tackle station.
All deck hardware and the bow rail are recessed and the deck is level from stem to stern for 360 degree fish fighting maneuverability. Integrated into the console and leaning post, the metalwork of the optional hard top carries the clean lines and stylish looks of the deck upward to a two-tone top with molded-in pods for speakers, three-hued LED lighting and spreader lights. Comfort features include soft and elegantly appointed upholstery on seating for 11 and a full step-down console with forward access.
