Description

OYSTER 495 TUGA - PRICE REDUCTION

Oyster 495.02 Tuga was launched in 2022 and Oyster Brokerage are delighted to represent this unique current build model on the brokerage market.

Tuga launched the 495 to the world and was the yacht that represented the series at the European Yacht of the Year in 2023, where she was crowned the winner. Owned by the very experienced Eddie Jordan, Tuga is a shining example of what can be achieved through interior design and hull wrapping. Distinctly different in looks but yet, very much the benchmark 50 foot Blue water sailing yacht.

As described by Toby Hodges from Yachting World: “At its heart is a wonderfully (Humphreys) designed and engineered luxury bluewater cruiser, conceived from the ground up, built in a new dedicated facility to a repeatable quality very few yards are capable of.

The 495 offers consistent passage making speeds in real voluminous comfort – whether enjoyed from the deep cockpit or the best-in-class aft cabin. Deck stowage and mechanical space is also superb. Then factor in the family appeal of Oyster’s after sales and world rally programme and you start to appreciate the premium world this sub 50-footer gives access to.”

Tuga has a great specification for med cruising and those looking to go further afield. She is ready for new adventures. With an Oak interior she is beautifully finished and offers effortless sailing short handed or fully crewed.

Recently refitted with works including removal of the vinyl hull wrap, engine and generator servicing, antifouling, anode change, and general servicing overhaul, Tuga is looking fantastic.

Viewing highly recommended.

OWNERS’ COMMENTS

“TUGA has been a fabulous boat to sail, with some unbelievable trips to Greece, Turkey and Croatia etc, as well as some crazy regattas.
I cannot tell you how much pleasure I have had with this boat – she is, in my opinion, the ultimate sailing boat for a couple or a small family – not sure she is possible to beat”

Owner of TUGA since 2022
