AMER 120 - 2025 - READY FOR THE SEASON!

The AMER 120 is a motor yacht with a length of 35.50 m, a width of 7.4 m and a volume of 230 GT.
The yacht has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 suites. The owner's cabin is planned on the main deck. The crew area includes 3 cabins for 5 people.
The AMER 120 is built with a fiberglass hull and fiberglass superstructure, with teak decks.
The AMER 120 is powered by 4 Volvo Penta diesel engines (D13-IPS 1350) with 1,350 hp. The cruising speed is 23/24 knots, the maximum speed is 26/27 knots. At cruising speed – the shipyard specifies – consumption is 550 litres per hour, for four engines, in a design process aimed at seeking sustainability and reducing consumption and emissions.

In this context, an innovative hull construction system is inserted, in which the use of fiberglass has been reduced, because it is difficult to recycle. While the composite product remains for the hull and superstructure, the side bulkheads have been largely replaced by windows glued to the metal structure. With 97 square meters of windows, the contribution of natural light allows, in turn, significant energy savings and the presence of two recesses generates a natural circulation of air that avoids, in the living room, the use of the air conditioning system.
